This trekking is a combination of the remote Manaslu Circuit Trek and popular Annapurna Circuit Trek. If you have got enough time to go on the adventure, you will surely enjoy an amazing trekking experience. The first part of the trek takes you to the Manaslu region exploring the less-explored part of the mountain. You will also get to experience the charm of ancient culture in the region. The second part of the trek goes around the Annapurna region that is a popular trekking route. You can see a clear difference between two regions but each holds their own charm.

Although the trek is a combination of trekking through a popular and a less-explored region of the Himalayas, you will get a beautiful experience. You will see how diverse the mountains in Himalayas are. Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek will certainly be wonderful experience of your life time.

Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (Max. Altitude: 1,400 m)

  • Airport pickup and hotel transfer in the heart of the city.

  • Evening trip briefing and time to relax after your flight.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour (Max. Altitude: 1,400 m)

  • Explore UNESCO World Heritage sites: ancient stupas, Hindu temple, and royal palace square.

  • Acclimatization day with time for last-minute trek preparations.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Jagat (Max. Altitude: 1400m)

  • 8 hours drive via Soti Khola and Machha Khola through rural Nepal with scenic rivers, hills, and villages.

Day 04: Jagat to Deng (Max. Altitude: 1,590 m)

  • Walk past Salleri and Sirdibas villages

  • Panoramic views of Sringi Himal

Day 05: Deng to Namrung (Max. Altitude: 2,670 m)

  • Trek amid prayer flags and chortens with rising mountain views.

  • Enter the Buddhist heart of the Nubri region.

Day 06: Namrung to Lho (Max. Altitude: 3,180 m)

  • Enjoy vistas of Naike Peak and Simnang Himal.

  • Walk through Lihi and Shyo villages rich in Tibetan culture.

Day 07: Lho to Samagaun (Max. Altitude: 3,530 m)

  • Trek deeper into the Nubri Valley with dramatic Himalayan scenery.

  • Discover the timeless traditions of Samagaun village.

Day 08: Samagaun Acclimatization (Max. Altitude: 3,530 m)

  • Optional hikes to nearby viewpoints or monasteries.

  • Rest and adjust for higher elevations ahead.

Day 09: Samagaun to Samdo (Max. Altitude: 3,860 m)

  • Enter wilder alpine landscapes with close-up mountain views.

  • Overnight in the beautiful frontier village of Samdo.

Day 10: Samdo to Larke Phedi (Max. Altitude: 4,460 m)

  • Short but steep hike to the foot of Larkya La Pass.

  • Relax and prepare for next day’s high-pass crossing.

Day 11: Larke Phedi to Bimthang via Larkya Pass (Max. Altitude: 5,160 m)

  • Challenging ascent to Larkya La with breathtaking panoramic peaks.

  • Long descent to the scenic valley of Bimthang.

Day 12: Bimthang to Tilije (Max. Altitude: 2,300 m)

  • Gentle downhill trek through rhododendron and pine forests.

  • First views of the Annapurna range.

Day 13: Tilije to Chame (Max. Altitude: 1,860 m)

  • Join the Annapurna Circuit trail and cross charming suspension bridges.

  • Enter the apple-growing region of the Manang district.

  • Follow the Marsyangdi River with dramatic Annapurna mountain views.

Day 14: Chame to Pisang (Max. Altitude: 3,300 m)

  • Gradual climb through pine forests and rocky gorges.

  • Discover the cultural richness of Pisang village.

Day 15: Pisang to Manang (Max. Altitude: 3,500 m)

  • Trek via the scenic upper trail through Geru for expansive mountain vistas.

  • Visit ancient monasteries before arriving in Manang.

Day 16: Manang Acclimatization (Max. Altitude: 3,500 m)

  • Day hikes to Gangapurna Lake or Ice Lake for altitude adjustment.

  • Explore Manang’s vibrant Tibetan-influenced culture.

Day 17: Manang to Yak Kharka (Max. Altitude: 4,000 m)

  • Short hike through alpine meadows and yak pastures.

  • Increasing views of Annapurna III and Gangapurna.

Day 18: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (Max. Altitude: 4,400 m)

  • Gradual ascent with striking Himalayan backdrops.

  • Rest early to prepare for the high pass crossing.

Day 19: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La (Max. Altitude: 5,416 m)

  • Early morning climb to Thorong La, one of the world’s highest trekking passes.

  • Descend to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath.

Day 20: Muktinath to Pokhara drive (Max. Altitude: 2,700 m)

  • Drive to Pokhara through the Kali Gandaki Valley.

  • Pass through traditional Mustang villages with dramatic desert landscapes.

  • Leisure time along Pokhara’s peaceful lakeside.

Day 21: Pokhara to Kathmandu (Max. Altitude: 1,400 m)

  • Drive or optional flight back to the capital city.

  • Free evening for shopping or cultural exploration.

Day 22: Departure from Kathmandu (Max. Altitude: 1,400 m)

  • Transfer to the airport for your international flight.

  • Farewell to Nepal and the completion of your Manaslu–Annapurna adventure.
