Khopra Ridge Trek: Offbeat Adventure with Panoramic Himalayan Views, Khayer Lake, and an authentic village experience.

The Khopra Ridge Trek is a relatively new trail in the Annapurna region that takes you off the beaten path and offers stunning views of the Himalayas. This trek is characterised by breathtaking views of terraced farmlands, lush forests, majestic rivers, traditional villages, and of course, the beautiful mountain range. The Khopra Ridge Trek is a peaceful and less crowded trek that offers visitors an opportunity to create an unforgettable memory in the mountain region with the local communities living in the region.

This trekking trail offers a unique experience, where you can walk through a rhododendron forest, alongside fast-flowing rivers, and witness the diverse wildlife of the mountain region, such as pheasants and yaks. During spring, the hills are all covered with pink and red rhododendrons, making the experience even more ecstatic. The trek encompasses visiting Khopra Ridge, Khayer Lake, and Poon Hill, each offering a unique and breathtaking view. The Khayer Lake is a sacred high-altitude lake, and its trail brings you close to Annapurna South, where you can witness mesmerising views of the mountain.

Moreover, the trek also includes a visit to the top of Poon Hill, which offers a panoramic view of all the mountains surrounding the area. This trek is best suited for moderate trekkers and is perfect for families travelling with parents and kids. Along the way, you will witness the rustic charm of traditional villages and interact with the friendly locals who are always welcoming. You will also get to taste local food and experience the hospitality of the locals. The Khopra Ridge Trek is an opportunity to escape from the chaos of city life and immerse yourself in nature's beauty.
